The Julie London Song Book with East Grinstead Jazz Club curator and host Jenny Green with her trio, Adrian York keys, Paul Whitten Bass with Vince Dunn, Drums
Featuring Canadian Born Guitarist Dominic Ashworth. Dominic is an active freelance player and is a band member of picante with Derek Nash. Dominic who has also worked with amongst others Carol Kidd Jacqui Dankworth, Dave Cliff and Janette Mason.
His 2019 Album Psyche has received rave reviews and features some of his own compositions which involves a plethora of talented musicians.
Julie London was an American singer and actress whose career spanned more than 40 years. A torch singer noted for her sultry, languid contralto vocals, London recorded over thirty albums of pop and jazz standards between 1955 and 1969.
Jenny will be performing songs from such Albums as Julie Is Her Name the first LP album by Julie London, and Julie London Sings the Standards taking you through the 50s to the 60s.
