The Wind in the Willows

< Back to Whats On

Please note: This event is in the past and is available as a reference only.

In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, the producers of the West End production of The Wind in the Willows will stream the show online for free, though ask for a small donation that will be given to theatre charities.

Based on Kenneth Grahames treasured novel, the classic childrens story was brought to the stage by producer Jamie Hendry, in a new musical adaptation with book by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes and Olivier Award-winning composer and lyricist duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

Join Ratty, Badger, Mole and the impulsive Toad as they embark on a series of riotous adventures spiralling from Toad's insatiable need for speed! The production features eye-poppingly beautiful design, exuberant choreography, a gloriously British score, comedy, heart and thrills, sure to delight families across the country.

Captured live from The London Palladium, this family friendly musical starred Rufus Hound as Toad, Simon Lipkin as Ratty, Craig Mather as Mole, Neil McDermott as Chief Weasel, Denise Welch as Mrs Otter and Gary Wilmot as Badger.
