John Tams & Barry Coope Returns to Chequer Mead After 7 Years!

Having performed here over 7 years ago, John Tams and Barry Coope are joining forces again for another unique collaboration.
Described by Mojo magian as "one of the ultimate British songwriters", five times winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, John Tams, ha has a career spanning four decades across every medium. A member of the Albion Band and Home Service, John is perhaps best known for composing the score for “War Horse” at the National Theatre as well as playing ‘Rifleman Daniel Hagman’ in the Sharpe television series.
Barry Coope is also internationally renowned, through being one-third of the outstanding a capella trio Coope, Boyes and Simpson.
This will be an unforgettable night for all Folk fans, old and new. Join them on Saturday 16th September at 7:30pm to celebrate their long overdue return.
