Please note: This event is in the past and is available as a reference only.

Please note this is an updated date of 2nd July

In a small East Anglian town, Florence Green (Emily Mortimer) a free-spirited but recent widow, decides to try and put grief behind her and risks everything to open up a bookshop, despite polite but ruthless local opposition.

It’s the first such shop in the sleep seaside town, and although fully supported by local recluse (Bill Nighy) her mini social revolution soon brings her fierce enemies from the town’s shopkeepers and residents.

BBFC rating PG.
