East Grinstead Christmas Comedy Gala

< Back to Whats On

Please note: This event is in the past and is available as a reference only.

The Christmas Comedy Gala is now a staple in the festive season!

Rounding off the year, the show will be headlined by none other than the hilarious JOE WILKINSON!  An award-winning gag-smith, his distinct style and unusual wit has made him a firm favourite on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Him & Her, Live at the Electric and Taskmaster.

Joining him is GLENN MOORE- a critically-acclaimed and prolific stand-up, writer and sketch comedian, known for his distinctive and inventive jokes.  He has performed on Mock the Week, as well as being a regular contributor.  Glenn is also the staff writer on the CITV sketch show, Scrambled, as well as being a writer on Russell Howard’s Good News.  Relentlessly silly, he is undoubtedly a class act.

Opening the show will be SEAN MCLOUGHLIN, a stand-up comedian and writer, described by Time Out as "The best comedian you haven't heard of yet."
He has most recently been the tour support for Ricky Gervais and is a firm favourite on the U.K and international comedy circuit, as well as receiving rave reviews for his Edinburgh fringe shows.
