Catering Manager Vacancy

Chequer Mead Theatre is currently recruiting for the role of Catering Manager.

Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead hosts over 250 events per year both in the main auditorium and throughout the venue. The theatre offers a mixed programme of professional and community events and hosts many other events throughout the venue. In addition the theatre shows selected films and performances streamed live and hosts special cinema events.

We are a currently looking to recruit a full time catering manager (40hrs) to lead a new and exciting chapter for food and beverage at Chequer Mead.

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in the operation of the new catering operation that is scheduled to open in September 2019. The candidate will be responsible for food and beverage preparation, stock control, health and safety, managing bookings for events and also be responsible for a small team.

Type: Full time (40hrs), Permanent.
