    Theatre Guide

    This section houses all our upcoming shows, productions, concerts and performances. Most of these events are in our main auditorium. You are able to sort by type of performance, for your convenience.

    Chequer Mead is home to various fitness and dance classes, singing groups and theatre companies which are all listed here.

    Many clubs and organisations hold their meetings and events at Chequer Mead. Here you’ll find all the information you’ll need about the variety of events at the theatre.

    Facilities at Chequer Mead

    At the heart of Chequer Mead is our purpose built, 320 seat theatre which is fully equipped with a full range of modern supporting facilities. In addition to the main house, we have a range of multi-purpose spaces ideal for corporate meetings, rehearsals, private functions, classes and events. We can comfortably cater for any number of people between 10 and 320.

Chequer Mead's Birthday Gala

A big Thank you, once again, for everyone who attended our 21st Birthday Gala on Saturday. 

We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the fantastic performances from Bullfrog Productions, Copthorne Players, Roshe School of Dance, LP Creatives, Grace Gardner & Matt Gillett and our compere Jake Lambert.

A huge Thank you to all the staff, crew and volunteers too, who made it possible. 

Here's to the next 21 years!!
